2x new climbing sites announced from the Arch Climbing Wall team.

There a 2x very exciting developments from The Arch Climbing Wall

Some rumours have been escelating recently about redevelopments happening across The Biscuit Factory complex, which has now been confirmed We can't find out much information about the new centre but the new site will be close to the current Buiscuit Factory site. The new sit named "Building One" will be a long term let nearby to the old one with decent natural light, tonnes of history, and simply a great layout for a climbing centre.

The site current Buiscuit factory is making way for a £51m redevelopment of the site. Construction has started on the new site, with a rough opening date towards the end of 2014.

And as if that wasn't enough, The Arch team has announced they are working on a centre north of the river too! Like twins, or buses! Within a short walk from a Northern line tube station in North-West London, and slightly larger than the existing Biscuit Factory site, The Arch North will mark another major new development for London climbing when it opens early next year.

Fred Stone, Director of The Arch Climbing Wall:

“It’s exciting enough to be opening somewhere new, let alone two almost at the same time. The three centres will have shared membership and entries, which is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. Each centre is being designed so that they will complement one another and have unique facilities and different styles that reflect the area and the history of the building. There really has never been a better time to be a climber in London.”

More details coming soon…
