We are big fans of The Biscuit Factory - Opened in March 2012, this new bouldering only wall has been built within the shell of old Biscuit Factory, hence the title... Billed as being a game changer for the London Climbing scene, it has a staggering 11,000+ square feet of bouldering, dozens of circuits offering hundreds of climbs. It is a this is one of the biggest bouldering facilities in London and the

UK.



The Centre

Over 11,000 square feet of Bouldering, dozens of circuits offering hundreds of climbs The Arch Climbing Wall is one of the largest climbing facilities in the UK. Comprising of some of the biggest competition walls in the UK, coving various grades from f5+ to f7c.  With the addition of some great facilities for strength and endurance training, campus boards and a circuit boards for endurance fitness and an impressing 55 degree training wall. Upstairs there is also a large stretching area with a lots of yoga mats and exercise balls.

All memberships and entrances are valid across all Arch centres.

Climbing at The Buscuit



Adults - Anyone can climb at the Arch if they are a competent climber. If you are not a competent climber you will need to take an Introduction class before their first visit. Bookings are made online - archclimbingwall.com/lessons/book-a-lesson

Children - under 14 require adult supervision at all times during their visit and are restricted to groups of 2 children. This means that the adult needs to be a competent climber or have taken an Introduction lesson previously.

Children between 14-18 years old can climb unsupervised with a parental letter of consent. Again unless the 14-18 year old is already a competent climber, they will need to take an Introduction class before their first visit. Bookings are made via email at thebiscuit@archclimbingwall.com


Registration / Membership / Discounts



Registration at the Biscuit Factory is free, yay! If you are an experienced climber you can register on arrival. Registration involves reading and fully understanding the ‘Rules & Conditions of the Centre’ and signing the declaration form accordingly.



If you haven’t had any experience climbing before then you’ll need to book yourself onto one of the Introduction classes. Introduction classes are booked online -  archclimbingwall.com/lessons/book-a-lesson/

Other Facilities/Information



  • They have a decent selection of snacks and drinks available at reception.

  • Adequate changing and toilet facilities, tons of lockers for you kit too.

  • Other equipment for use within the Biscuit Factory can be picked up at reception including: Yoga Mats, Rock Ringsr Sports Massage and Physiotherapy treatments are also available at the Arch. The services are provided by the Broken Biscuits Clinic for Sports Medicine and Pain Management - brokenbiscuitsclinic.com
